Holy sh** my
class finished reading Act 1.Here are some of the characters we met so far. Nora is the wife
of torvald helmer. Torvald helmer is Nora’s husband. Mrs.Linde is Nora’s childhood friend. Krogstad is a lawyer who went
to school with Torvald and holds a position at Torvald’s bank and Dr.Rank is
Torvald’s best friend. The story starts on Christmas Eve. And Nora
Helmer enters the house with packages and a Christmas tree. Her husband,
Torvald Helmer, comes out of his study and addresses Nora with tenderness and
authority, calling her his “skylark” and his “squirrel.” Nora tells Torvald
that she wants to show him what she has bought, and Torvald makes fun of her for
being a spender. Torvald’s new position at the bank means he will earn a large
salary. Torvald replies that he will not take over that position until after
the new year begins. Later on, Nora greets a female visitor and the visitor
realizes that Nora does not remember her. Finally, Nora recognizes the woman as
her childhood friend, Kristine Linde and remarks that Mrs.Linde has changed
since they last met nine or ten years earlier. The reason why she came was
because she was in need of a job and she asked if she can work with her
husband, Torvald. Nora explains that the trip to Italy was quite expensive and
that she got the money from her father. The family left for Italy at just about
the time that Nora’s father died. Nora said that her husband has been
completely well since returning from Italy and that the children are very
healthy too. Nora later explains to Mrs.Linde that she had worked for the money
herself by saving up.

My name is Jayson Vega and this is my very own blogger page that made. I was born on April 17. I’m Ecuadorian. I love to spend time with my family. At the end of the day am at the gym working out. What I like most about English class so far is everything. Period 7 is the best class not just because it’s the end of the day but I get to end it with the best people I know, including Mrs.Santos and Ms.Pettigrew. Our class is reading a book called, “A Doll’s House” by Henrik Ibsen. I’m looking forward to reading it but I don’t know anything about this book or the author but now I do.
Henrik Ibsen was born on March 20, 1828, in Skien, Norway. He
grew up in the small town of Skien.he was the oldest of five children born to
Knud and Marichen Ibsen. His father was a successful merchant and his mother
painted, played the piano and loved to go to the theater. Ibsen was interested
in becoming an artist as well. At 15, Ibsen stopped school and went to work. He
worked as an apprentice in an apothecary in Grimstad. Ibsen worked there for 6
years, using his limited free time to write poetry and paint. In 1849, he wrote
his first play Catilina, a drama written in verse modeled after one of his
great influences, William Shakespeare. In 1891, Ibsen returned to Norway as a
literary hero. In 1900, Ibsen had a series of strokes that left him unable to
write. He managed to live for several more years. Six years later Ibsen died on
May 23, 1906 at the age of 78. R.I.P Henrik Isben (1828-1906)
